It could be better. - Pipes, fittings and accessories

Worked well but the o-ring on the inside came out of the side panels (find out by licking). I had to play around with this to stop the leak - I ended up using caulk to create a seal. The inside needs redesigning to hold the o-ring in place for a snug fit.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Doubtful

This is NOT a picture of the part supplied.

This is NOT an image of the part supplied. Not even close. This photo is exactly what I needed, but I did not receive it. Image (which I assumed was correct). lesson learned

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • minor problems

Item as described but delivered used

This item is as described as other reviewers have pointed out but not the photo. This is normal as I needed what was described. However, I just used it and it is being used. The ferrule is already compressed so I can't put it on the pipe. And I'm out of the return window. So 8โ‚ฌ wasted. If you need what is described and not in the photo and they send you a new one then you are in luck.

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • Flaws

Mirror pictured does not match item description

The picture shows what I needed: 3/8" internal compression to 1/4" compression male. The description was the opposite. So who do you trust? It would be nice if the buyer could trust both and not spend money to find out which one is the right one! " compression fitting, buy Lasco 17-6755. Go there and you will find a photo of both fittings swapped around (damn it!).

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Upgrades

Get this for your fridge

You're going to want to do this, especially if you're using copper plumbing. 1/4" copper tubing will corrode and clog over time, and some people refuse to use plastic tubing as much as possible, so simply using 3/8" lead tubing will solve the problem. What you get with 1/4" female compression thread and 3/8" male compression thread. I know it's confusing, but take this one and stop using 1/4" cords, it will flow better too.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Hard to say
