This lock seems durable but I had to spend an hour making a custom deadbolt as regular deadbolts (e.g. this a replacement) are square holes, on almost every van, latch hardware I've seen. It's a small slot so I can't use the long deadbolt on my other locks and I had to make a special deadbolt just for this lock. I just had to send them back and keep looking for a matching clasp.

Ordered cam locks from Latch. This is after reading the articles that discussed the common key of the CH751 shaft. Once I figured out how to adjust the cam lock to allow the key to come out in both the locked and unlocked positions, installation was a breeze. Unique keys are an advantage. I've never understood why compartment locks don't have unique keys. Also, I don't understand why you need those locks. was my experience. After checking the door thickness for my RV Storage to be 1 1/8”, I ordered a Latch-It 1 1/8”. However, when trying to install the lock, it barely matched the thickness of the door and didn't match the o-ring. Even after removing the seal, I had to modify the lock so that my hand could hold the inner metal of the frame.
