I originally bought these for my mini washing machine to help sew clothes to keep them from frizzing and potentially collecting hair that might get left on them. Instead, they get tangled up in clothing and do next to nothing. They also sometimes prevent the washing machine from rotating in a certain way. more trouble than they're worth, to be honest. Maybe they could help if they were a little bigger.

They arrived and I was expecting something BIGGER than half a dollar. But no. These little balls are so tiny I had to trawl through each batch to find them all instead of melting them in the dryer lol. NOT at all what I expected! Good washing machine balls are about the size of a tennis ball. **A little less. But they were so small NOTHING helped my laundry. And it took so long to go through everything to make sure no one was hiding because it's so small.

I bought these because I was told they don't tangle clothes and they really work! As for the other claims, I'm not sure, but they do the job I bought them for. I add a dozen to every load, either before or after loading the laundry into a front-loading washer. I move them from the washer to the dryer with each load. I've used them dry on high heat with no problems. They tend to fall out of clothes and bounce when I empty the washer and dryer, but not worth chasing after and untangling…
