Lava 10185 Heavy Duty Cleaner Moisturizers Review

I have used this product for years whenever my hands get dirty while gardening or changing the oil. For some reason it's getting harder and harder to find them in stores lately. So I stocked up before the government took it off the market like so many other well-performing products.

I've been using lava soap for everything, including in the shower, since I worked in an oil field in the early 1980's. That's the real deal. It cleanses and exfoliates your skin like nothing else, leaving it fresh and new. It's getting harder and harder to find in retail stores, but luckily Revain has plenty of it. Great if you enjoy working on cars, gardening or just want a soap that doesn't feel slimy and scented. I highly recommend this product!

I have loved and used Lava soap bars for many years. I buy them locally and on Amazon when I can't find them. I have no idea why or how, but for the first time, these soap bars smell like dead night snakes. Not just one bar, I ripped 4 of these bars and they all smell awful. You definitely can't use them

We love lava soap and it's hard to find. There were definitely more bars than we needed, but we'll end up using them all. Lava Soap does a great job with workers' dirty hands!

Other reviews seem to indicate the formula was changed at some point but if so I can't find it. It seems to be the same lava soap I've always used and relied on after working on various projects in my workshop. Removes various dirt, oils and paint splashes that hands are exposed to without being a kind of chemical cleaner. It's hard to find in stores these days, so I was very happy to find Revain (as always). The 12 pack was a delight too.

Man I just love this soap! I'm a farmer and my husband comes in with all that dirt on his hands from work on a tractor and this soap just washes it all away. I use it with a sponge to remove sticky plant debris like when trimming tomatoes and nothing else cleans my hands. I love the pumice stone effect. Not keen on the smell, and the soap melts when placed in a soap dish filled with water, but hey, it's soap. I buy a pack of 12 at the start of the growing season. Obligatory!

I love LAVA soap and shower with it as it removes dead skin that other soaps would take about 3 days to clean to do what lava does in minutes. Be careful around the eyes and behind the ears, the pumice stone will burn the baby, it will!

I've loved Lava for decades. These things have a stronger order than usual. I don't know, but maybe there's too much moisturizer in the bars? I opened the box and thought they stink. I used a bar for a few days hoping it would smell less but no. Still pretty overwhelming. My hands smell strongly after washing. Now we still bought bars from our local store and they still smell good. Nothing like the super strong smell in these things. I'll send them back, uh.
