The lamp fits the lava lamp but doesn't seem to get hot enough to stir the wax inside. I plugged it in and turned it on for several days and the wax just melted. When the bulb came to me, the packaging was also completely open. The lightbulbs fell out of the plastic wrap and landed in the bag. I would NOT buy this bulb.

Bought a 15 watt bulb for my daughter's lava lamp which she got for her birthday a few years ago. The original bulb died and had to be replaced.
