It fits into the stand and snaps into place. At first I didn't think it would fit, but after some effort it "snapped" satisfactorily. It holds the branded OralB head just as well as generics. One thing to note is that the heads only fit one way, so don't put force on them or you'll damage the hole and it won't fit the toothbrush properly.

I received a new electric toothbrush that did not have an additional toothbrush compartment. This accessory is just right for me and my husband. You do not need to look for a sterile place for our brushes. Works perfectly!

I bought Oral B Vitality but wanted both my son and I to be able to use it without having TWO separate bases. who needs it We just need two different nozzles. However, there is no storage space on the existing base. This plastic part fits perfectly on the base. If you didn't know, you would even think it was part of the system. Thanks for a great product.

It doesn't feel durable and looks a bit cheap, but it's a piece of plastic after all, so I wasn't expecting much.
