Works, came quickly.

After carefully removing the previous screen from my Surface Pro 5, troubleshooting the battery, and reconnecting the original screen, I found that despite my best efforts, the screen was cracked and not working. These screens are thin. I received this replacement screen 5 days after ordering, plugged it in after moving the touchscreen processor and it worked. Works and fits as intended.

Somehow I overlooked that my Surface Pro 5 SSD cannot be updated. Thinking I was doing something clever, I removed the screen and damaged the cable connecting the digitizer and the screen. I cursed myself for not doing proper research before damaging a perfectly good new Surface and confirmed I hadn't damaged anything else.
