It's WAAAAAA cheaper than the original version from Apple and works just as damn well. Save yourself a lot of money and don't buy unnecessarily from Apple. It's likely made in the same factory in China as the expensive Apple; for a much lower price.

Havw had less than a week. Seems to work fine but the plug you put in the wall is different than what is pictured. It's nowhere near the standard apple style shown in the photo. Again, it works, so it costs $10 or so to replace the lost storage extension.

Not like the picture. No original equipment. Enough deception. That has to stop. Why not just say it's not an Apple product but it's compatible. Instead, the description says 'from Apple', which is a blatant lie, and then includes a picture of the original product (which I didn't receive).

Make sure that the shape of the connector matches the cable. One side is notched and the other side is flat. In order to fit my cable, it needs to have these cutouts on both sides. The cable I'm trying to connect it to is also an aftermarket item, so it might be the part that's weird and not this one. Just something to check before ordering this.

I've read a lot of reviews from people who said they couldn't tell this cable apart from an Apple extension cable that costs ten dollars more. I assure you there is definitely a difference. The weight/thickness of this cable is lighter and the flexibility is less, ie the plastic housing is more rigid and brittle. But for my home-only use, it's fine and worth the saving. I can't comment on durability as I've only had it for a few months. If you're looking for a workhorse that can go anywhere and
