Tight but not uncomfortable. They seemed to offer support while running without chafing. Good for running or other exercise and would buy again.

They fit my 6 year old soccer player perfectly but there was a hole which prevented the material from fitting into the belt. Makes me doubt the quality and if they will last long.

The advertised picture is not correct. The shorts are more like boxer shorts than knee length compression shorts. My son is not big and they did not kneel down on him and approach him.

My son is 9 years old, weighs 80 pounds, wears medium or size 8 to 10 pants, they are perfect for no gi jiu jitsu. I bought him a medium one. We need them to fit snugly and that's how it is. He then wears it under his pants while riding. They help keep him cool in the heat (instead of pants) and offer good protection when his shorts ride up. They were delivered quickly and are both in great condition. Hope that helps.
