That's all that was promised. I didn't find it too loud at all. The voice is clear and understandable. I bought this for my 2 year old great grandson and he really enjoys it. When he cries, he cries, which makes my boy stop and talk to him.

I don't usually write product reviews. No time, but I take my time to prevent others from wasting money. The loud, inaudible murmur, similar to that of a squirrel, made by this parrot does not match the advertisement. Unfortunately it arrived just in time for my event and I had to use it. Everyone was just as annoyed as I was. Save your well-deserved money!

I bought it for my grandson but I have to admit I played with it for half an hour before packing it. It really flaps its wings and repeats everything you say in a funny parrot voice. My grandson was in seventh heaven with happiness. I have to admit, this can be a bit annoying, especially when a lot of people are talking at the same time. We adults hit a turning point with this little guy, but the kids never got tired.

Compared to funny apps that repeat what people say, this is VERY far from apps. The parrot does not repeat words, but intonation without the opportunity to repeat the spoken words. Otherwise the parrot is cute. Just expensive without a basic snooze feature. I will be giving it as a gift and will not include extra batteries in the package as I am pretty sure this feature will not be used very often.

I remember having the same thing in my Cracker Barrel as a kid. I thought this would be a good idea for my kids because I liked the ones I had.
