Not as fun as I had hoped.

The game is very simple, even for a 4-year-old child. A 4 year old got tired of this very quickly, even after playing different versions of the game. Would also welcome a stronger and more durable material than cardboard.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Encourages patience and attention to detail

Bought for my 5 year old to sort and work so he takes turns working and doesn't fall apart when things aren't going his way. He's still studying but he and his sister (8) and cousins (6 and 9) had a blast playing together.

Pros
  • Beautiful
Cons
  • For old people

Such a unique and fun motor skills game!

My 4 and 2 year olds have been playing this game since it came out. The fruit was well done and firm. The pliers are of relatively good quality. Unfortunately, the crate that makes up the fruit stand doesn't seem to stand the test of time. I want it to be made from the best material.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • I don't remember

Amazing for encouraging dexterity and finding motor skills!

My 5 and 9 year olds love this game! You play it for a long time. It has greatly improved my child's fine motor skills. and take turns learning lol. They made their own rules. But still have fun with this game. It is of very good quality and durable. I like that the "box" is made of thick foam.

Pros
  • Convenience
Cons
  • There are downsides

Fun for children: Sorting and stacking toys

Fun for preschool children. Many of the negative reviews say that in reality there is never an "avalanche". We just tilt it more with each turn and the problem is solved. There are no "rules" either, but we only play in such a way that if you fall 1 or 2 times, you don't get any fruits and you have to return the same amount from your collection. If more than 2 fruits fall, it counts as an avalanche and whoever has the most at that moment wins.

Pros
  • Many are enough
Cons
  • Expensive

Great hand coordination game

My 4 year old son can write all the letters. However, his handwriting and the way he holds a pencil need some help. It was a great game and a great tool to strengthen his arm muscles. His preschool teacher uses tweezers in class during practice sessions to improve gross motor skills. I love that the "Fruit Stand" can be set to different difficulty levels. I have attached an image. Marble for reference. Great game and a great way to help my son while having fun.

Great fun and great tool for developing fine motor skills!

Our 4 year old has fine motor skills so we decided to try this game from Learning Resources. The goal of this game is to be the first to collect one fruit of each color without triggering an avalanche at the fruit stand. The game is great fun and adjusts the difficulty to challenge a variety of kids as the incline of the fruit stand is adjustable - you can make it less cool for kids and pretty cool for older kids. The included tweezers have very good muscle building resistance and have…

Great game for toddlers and preschoolers.

This game is very fun. We've had him for almost a year now. It helps to work on order, colors, counting to three, strategy (choose one of each fruit, not just your favorite color), fine motor skills and being a good winner. jonah My children are also used in pre-school institutions. The stand is adjustable, the picture shows the steepest step. You can reattach the velcro to make the stand less steep to make it easier. This is cardboard. My children are not docile but are supervised when using…

Great game for a speech therapist!

I'm a Speech Therapist and my students love this game. This is great for categorization, fine motor skills, colors and reinforcement. The fruits are very hardy and I can imagine using them for years. Edited to add: Now that I've been using this game for a few months, I feel I need to add a few more things to this review. The fruit pieces are very well processed. I like how the manufacturer decided to make them one color for several reasons. First, it makes it easier to distinguish when rotating
