Good for counting but too small

Toddler loves counting and counting so it's great. Can count chocolate chips and read numbers. The only problem is the cookie is so small he can put anything in his mouth which scares me. So only for controlled play.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • So far so good

Grandson's favorite

I bought a counting cookie because I thought it would be fun to teach my grandchildren the basics of counting. It turned out to be her favorite toy! They love putting cookies in, taking out cookies, counting cookies, feeding cookies to plush toys and dolls. The only downside is that after a fun game you have to find all the cookies. This is the toy they always get, 1 to 5 years old. This toy is playable and can also teach counting if I help them learn.

Great toy for learning to count and more!

I bought these to help my 4 year old learn to count and recognize numbers! They are very nice and she likes to pretend to take my cookie order. I tell her how many chocolate chips I want on my cookies and she finds the right cookie by counting. The small jar is good for storage and seems to last a long time. And when she outgrows counting, she's fun to use as play food with her kitchen set! All in all a great purchase!

  • One year trial
Cons

Very good quality biscuits

The container is made of rather hard plastic which could break if left unattended by more creative children. However, the cookie is a heavy rubbery plastic that holds its shape very well. No part of this item will fit in the choke tubes, but kids can stuff a whole cookie in their mouth. Not only does it serve as a prop for our theater area, but we practice and repeat cookie and chip counting with each cookie. I love it when devices serve more than one function.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Worked well for our milk bath photo shoot! It would also be a great toy!

It was a great investment! I used them in a milk bath photoshoot for my 6 month old baby. He's obviously too young to fully play with them but I was able to flip a cookie representing his age 6 times 6 months to celebrate 6 months of breastfeeding. I really like this toy because it #1 floats and has no way of getting liquid inside which means there is no nasty mold or mildew stains and it's easy to clean! #2 They can be used as bath toys or regular toys. #3 long life ahead. #4 Super cute! #5…

Cute, expensive, smaller than expected

Very cute! Much smaller than expected, the biscuits fit easily, but the jar and biscuits are a lot smaller than I thought. This makes it difficult to count the individual pieces of chocolate. I think $18 is a very high price for what you get, max $15 but for me it's $12. I had a gift certificate, otherwise I would not have paid the $20 (tax included) for this item out of my own pocket. This can be an odd complaint. Of course the kid won't notice lol but I want the chocolate chip to be off…

Informative and funny

I bought it for $13 which I think is a better price than $20. The cookie jar is plastic, about 7 inches high. The biscuit is a hollow plastic about 2 inches in diameter. The set is smaller than I expected, but that's okay because it fits easily in our toy kitchen. The cookies are numbered from 0 to 11 at the bottom and have the corresponding number of chocolate chips at the top. I don't like the fact that the cookie is hollow - it can actually be squeezed. I think the product would be of better

Chips Hello! Cute durable countertop biscuit set

This set would make a great addition to your play kitchen if you are looking for play cookies with the added bonus of a count/number ID feature. It contains 11 plastic toys and 1 plastic cookie jar. I honestly bought this set because I just needed more cookies for my son to "bake" and we currently only have one cookie (from another learning resource set). While this set doesn't include all of the other "tools" for baking that other sets have (like a baking pan, rolling pin, etc.), it really…

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for seniors
