🍩 Boosting Early Learning with Learning Resources Smart Snacks Doughnuts Review

This is a fun new toy for our nursery kitchen. I ended up gluing the pole to the base because the kids kept tearing it off. Donuts are colorful and fun.

This was actually a replacement order, my 4 year old stepped on a donut and cracked it. Donuts aren't made of soft plastic like Fisher's price tags, but rather hard, thin plastic like a tough plastic egg. Great for young children, loved it so much we ordered a second one.

I'm rarely disappointed with learning resources. This is by far the cheapest pre-made product I have ever received. The coloring is terrible! The donuts are so dented they don't even fold. Terrible waste! $15 is too much for this toy!

Not sure if it's because the item is a donut but the packaging says it's an over 18 month-old toy, which I don't think is right. Other color ring stacking toys are 6-9+m tall so I am giving one star less. Child is capable and most likely folds up to 12m, so age is odd for this item.

Detachable Base and Donut Stick. Unlike my kid who wants to fold donuts, she just wants to take the base and tell apart. totally defeats the purpose. I wish I had gone for the regular fisherman price. I usually love the quality of the learning resources but wasn't a fan of this product in particular.

I was disappointed at first until I thought about it. I expected the quality of Learning Resources game nutrition to be amazing and second to none. We have several play food sets, ABC cookies, and molded cupcakes, and they're all so strong and thick that they won't bend or crumple even when chewed. I expected them to be the same. It's not like this. The plastic is much thinner and they can bend or wrinkle. The paint also feels airbrushed and not as thick and bright. But I think even more so if…

I was delighted to get this set for my almost 2 year old son as he was able to play with donuts when he was older. Although it is a very nice set made from thick durable plastic, the set I received was sort of defective and perhaps other sets are not like the one I received. One of the donuts has a huge dent and I don't even know how that's possible as the box hasn't been damaged and the plastic is so thick it can't be dented.
