Fired after switching on!

I literally just unpacked this toy. I put in batteries, good brand new Energizer batteries, hit the music button and smelled like burnt plastic. I looked around the kitchen and looked out the window with it in my hand and then I felt my hand was warm, I looked back at the toy and it was fucking smoking! I took out the batteries. The smoke does not come from the battery compartment, but from the inside. It continued to smoke and the stench grew stronger. I had to delete it! I don't even want toโ€ฆ

Terrible to teach a young child

Personally I would give it 1 star but my son loves to turn on the annoying bright blue light and dance to the little songs he plays so has to I give it one star for that entertaining factor I think. The main problem is that the hands don't work independently, so you have to wind the minute hand a billion times to get to the hour you want and then find the minutes. It is not easy for a child to understand. Also, at the beginning of the hour, "60" is displayed instead of "00". Pretty sure itโ€ฆ

Exceeded my expectations!

Tock's training watch exceeded my expectations. When I first opened it I thought it was cute and my son could use it to practice telling the time. As it turned out, he has a lot more options! My son loves the music he plays and we had a lot of fun playing the quiz. He learned to set the time a lot quicker than I expected and he loves the 'beat the clock' trivia aspect. The hands move slightly and the watch has minute equivalents to set the time (e.g. 1 has a small 5 next to it, 2 has a 10โ€ฆ

Great watch for general education

My daughter loves this watch. The best part is that it is a cute design and my daughter is obsessed with robots. Since it looks like a robot, she loves it. It's fun to move the hand and the clock can tell what time it is (although it only does 5 minute increments, but I don't see that as a problem as it's best not to get caught up in it when you first learn to get bogged down in the details). I like that it has a night light function. I also really like that it has a digital clock that helpsโ€ฆ

Great little watch with well thought out methods to teach timing skills

Super cute! My 2 and 4 year olds love it and have discovered what it can do which I haven't discovered yet. I'm under the impression that you can set some kind of timer and the lights are either blue or green depending on whether the timer is activated or not, but I haven't figured out the function yet (if there even is one?). some technical challenge. The clock was easy to set up, the dance party feature is fun for kids and a great way to introduce them to reading/understanding analog timeโ€ฆ
