Not what I thought Tie-Outs & Stakes

I bought this product because it is suitable for large dogs. However, I had a German Shepherd and she pulled a steak right out of the ground.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

Very durable! in Learning and Behavioral Resources

Very Sturdy! The linen part has been through a lot and is still perfect. We've tried a few of these and this is the first dog of ours that hasn't run away lol great item and great price!

Pros
  • Easy-to-Read Control Panel
Cons
  • Tape

Gives our pup some freedom.

This works very well for our 7 month old beagle mix. He can play and that gives him security. He was trying to dig up the stake, so we NEVER leave him unattended.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Minor issues

Small breed dogs need to be considered when attaching cable ties

To be used as a harness for my small dog. I liked everything about it except the latches are too heavy and bulky for small dogs and there just weren't any other options for small dogs.

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

They work well but have a few flaws

They do what they are supposed to do, the stake is good for digging into the ground and prevents a 35 lb dog from being pulled out and gives him freedom of movement . The rotary sticks, the hardware will rust if left out, there's no way to shorten the length of the cord, and the plastic handle gnaws easily, so it's not perfect.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Empty

Does what it should!

The only thing that could improve this product would be if my dog was smart enough not to wrap his head around the support beams under the deck. But that's not the product's fault. This is great if you don't have a fully fenced yard and need to let your dog out in the rain at 4am. Took 2 minutes to install and looks very solid. The leash is a good length allowing our dog to run around a bit and really cover a large area with poo.

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Nothing

works as expected - learning and behavioral aid

It's easier to screw the stake into the ground because the handle helps you push and twist at the same time. We don't use it for long or even daily. This is perfect for keeping the dog in front when the kids are playing in the driveway. I'm not sure I would use it as a tie all day or for a longer period of time unless you're using it on a small dog. Our dog is about 65 pounds and doesn't like being left alone so I would only use him when we are all outside together.

Pros
  • High score for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Some difficulty
