Firstly a really nice and seemingly solid construction. However, it is slightly smaller than a regular pencil case, and my pile of pens, pencils, and a few other items that fit perfectly in my cheap, worn-out, old pencil case wouldn't fit in this one. Just understand that this suitcase is significantly shorter and smaller on the inside than what you might have had before. Dimensions disclosed. I just figured that pencil cases are usually all the same size and didn't make size an issue.

This is a great little pencil case but right in the box the leather trim needs some maintenance. The pencil case arrived with a shiny plastic finish on the leather. I spent a good 10 minutes on this before putting anything in and wrung it out really well. I twisted it, folded it in multiple directions, and polished the shine on a large piece of suede. I received this product on time, it was well packaged and had no defects. The only wish is that there is no fabric lining inside. I could not make out what the inside of the bag looked like from any of the images shown or any description and if I had known it was fabric lined I would not have bought it simply because I bought it instead of one. which wear out too quickly due to the fabric lining.
