I wear them for EUC Riding. In warm weather I wear them with shorts, but in cooler weather I wear them over my pants. I wore them on a recent car ride but did NOT remove the inner knee pads on my motorcycle pants causing those pads to move. This is not a problem when the inner knee pads are removed. You will see a lot of people buying this for EUC but let me tell you why it doesn't work imo. I rode in them at least 3 hours continuously in EUC. The fact that you're standing means they'll slip off no matter how tight you zip or what type of pants you're wearing. You can modify it by drilling holes and criss-crossing, but I prefer not to.
