Theses are strong they are easy to hang. BUT they are very very bright WHITE. You have to spend a lot more $ to get a dimmer switch. Not included. I was hoping for an antique gold glow, but even when dimmed they turn white. Note that 2 packs are loose and I have to return both sets. I could probably get by with one set of ugly blinding lights but I definitely don't want 2 but I'm stuck. Buy 2 sets of the same thread if you end up like me.

They have been hanging in our garden for a few months now and they are great. They survived Oregon's record heatwave. (Here in the valley we saw 117 degrees Celsius). We didn't see much rain, but I put a sprinkler in just underneath a few times a week. They look solid and so far so good. They all still work great and we turn them on almost every night. We rarely use the porch light with them. They just make the backyard so beautiful at night.

The brightness of these lights is excellent. They also mention that you can connect multiple strands together, but the forks will not stay connected when tension is present. I had to tie them up and they held tight until they fell off at night and broke the "unbreakable" lightbulbs. Also the areas where you have to hang lightbulbs are weak and ripped apart by 2 of me. They are not intended to be hung under tension without major modifications. Incandescent bulbs are obviously not unbreakable…

With so many LED lights to choose from, I am very happy with this one. Have a 12x22 patio cover and use one of two 48 foot strings. Hung in a zigzag pattern with temporary clips during a snowstorm on Christmas Eve. I bought these because they were advertised as being durable and shatterproof. You are neither. The lights went out and the bulbs shattered into a million pieces. The plastic is very thin. I had to vacuum my concrete to pick up all the small pieces. They also entered my pool. It was a complete mess. Easy to install, bright light, very durable! I bought these lights to use in the outdoor gazebo for my son's wedding. This happened the same weekend as Hurricane Ida approached Louisiana (we are in South Alabama). I bought these two packs thinking I had enough for my garden and ended up buying another one.
