Looks good for a few days

Bought 2 sets of these. The first set looked very good. Almost too good. Got most of my UV lamps lit with two, but not all. After 2-3 days I noticed the UV effects calmed down and became less intense leading me to believe it was a kit. Idk So I bought another set and installed it and it looks a bit bluer and lighter. Much brighter. Not sure if the first kit looked like this and then just blunted for power/heat. I think I'll stop by in a few days. I probably need to buy a better quality blackโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Keep calm

Basically, the RGB light stays on purple: not true UV.

These lights are pretty cheap but they don't work. I already have a few other brands of UV LEDs that work great but I needed two more strips to even out the effect in my case so I bought these. After installation I first thought that maybe they have a weaker effect than my other UV lamps (because my other lamps cost 3 times more for 1 strip). That maybe other lights will overtake these and make their effect less noticeable, so I turned off the other UV lights. NO RESPONSE TO UV AT ALL I tookโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Not automatic

Unbeatable performance for the price

To be honest there are a lot of complaints about them sucking. I recently ordered 4 boxes and each one worked great. Especially for cash. The only other legal option I saw was CableMod, but their strips cost over $50 and are shorter too. These strips have magnets inside for a perfect fit on the case. The mother of that awful double-sided tape from 3M (By the way, if your tape ever sucks, people buy a little roll and make it themselves. It's that easy). I didn't want it to drown out everythingโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Rugged construction
Cons
  • Transparency

A bargain for the price if you have UV sensitive components.

So a few facts about these UV LEDs: (Please mark this as "helpful" so more people can see it!) Yes, they are UV LEDs. However, not all of my components (even the white tubes on my CLC) react with UV (remember that if you get UV, not all white components are as reactive as others, if at all). They stick very well and the magnets are by no means weak. While I'm very familiar with the fact that LEDs don't need to "warm up" like CCFLs, I swear these things got brighter after an hour or so. Received

Pros
  • Happy so far
Cons
  • I'll get back to you later

It's better than good - it's quite satisfactory

The picture does not COMPLETELY reflect what is happening; Phone sensors amplify ANY available light by about 100,000,000 times (exaggerating the effect). Temper your expectations of the output, knowing that most of what you see in my image is the phone's sensor, which is picking up more light than "really". Also, my front panel is lit by two 140mm Corsair AF 140mm red LED fans. However, the fans do not functionally provide any lighting inside the case, so all the light you see from the windowโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • old
