For the price, this is a decent case that meets the advertised specs. This definitely keeps my 5 year old from killing the poor iPad as he drops it often and has even been thrown. He gets up well and deals with abuse. However, the fit is definitely not perfect, nor is the "finish" (edges, cutouts, etc. are slightly misaligned and stained). We bought two of these for my kids (5 and 8 years old) to protect their iPads. We have had one of the iPads for over 5 years and the stand on the previous cover broke after a few months. The stands are strong and durable. They're definitely bulky, but you need them if you want your young kids to hold an iPad. They have stood the test of time and made several long journeys, including moving house. They were definitely dropped and protected the iPad mini. No break and they are still going strong.

We bought this in August 2018 and it's still in such good condition that I felt like writing a review. This is used EVERY DAY for gaming, FaceTime, educational apps and of course YouTube for kids. We've had this iPad in other cases - Otterbox anyway. All of them broke after numerous accidental falls. (Small children, etc.) This case is very similar to the childproof case that Revain ships with their Fire tablets, which we love. So we tried it and were very satisfied.
