For the price, this is a decent case that meets the advertised specs. This definitely keeps my 5 year old from killing the poor iPad as he drops it often and has even been thrown. He gets up well and deals with abuse. However, the fit is definitely not perfect, nor is the "finish" (edges, cutouts, etc. are slightly misaligned and stained). What annoys me the most is that the length of the case is around 5-10mm. It is not strong enough, so the iPad often slides into the case. It's not out yet, but it worries me. However, this may actually be intentional as it caters to such a wide range of tablets. Our 1st gen ipad mini is on the list for what it fits, so if you have that just be prepared for it to slip a bit. I think it will be good as the material is so soft and comfortable. You can't place anything on the edges to take up space because then you'll block ports, buttons and speakers.
