Almost perfect - spare parts

This is what you need when the wheels are too small or too big. The discs are very accurate and reproducible, but sometimes you want to add a little more. You can always take some sandpaper and enlarge the holes. Or use an adjustable loading scale and a calibrated scale and you can get almost any measurement you want. If needed, you can add a little more by turning the adjustment knob. As always, you should test repeatability by testing a few throws until you get consistent results. My problems

Good product at a good price

This completes my triumvirate of Lee powder measurements. I find the right balance between Autodisk and Autodrum for each of my workloads. As mentioned, the marks on the charge bar are largely useless, but by trial and error, starting with a setting you think will result in an insufficient charge, you can gradually work your way up to the desired charge. Once the charge is achieved it is very reproducible, gives or takes a tenth of a grain, but is mostly accurate. You can then save the setting…

I didn't expect it to be perfect after reading the reviews

I didn't expect it to be perfect after reading the reviews and of course no powder measurement is for all kinds of Powders properly but it' makes a good print at 1/10 grit, fairly consistent, very easy to use. Just weigh the first loads to get the result, then weigh a few here and there to make sure nothing has changed (you should do this even with a car disk!). . I shoot/load a lot of 9mm Luger rifle cartridges and have very few options for loading 9mm Lugers for use in Autodisc rifles. The…

It can be quite a hassle.

Lee products aren't always perfect, and sometimes they need improvement. The loading indicator works but is not as stable as my drives. I find myself measuring 95% of the charges thrown. Sometimes I see fluctuations of up to 0.5 grains. I've tried sanding down the contact surfaces as sometimes it seems to hang and the "return home" sometimes gets sticky. It usually crashes when turned off. Which would probably be a good thing, but right now I'm concerned about the squib loads that could come…

Gap between adjustable loading rod and discs.

I like being able to load the powder dispenser without removing the powder container, but the numbers on the loading dial are pretty much useless, so I recommend weighing each load and adjusting the loading dial until you find the right one amount of powder. This rod drops a fairly stable powder load but I wouldn't say it's any more accurate than the Lee discs which I find to be very accurate and stable. However, discs are limited in terms of powder charges. The advantage of this loading bar is

Great product for runners

I really liked my Lee Precision Auto Disk Powder Dispenser. But it wasn't without problems. On the one hand, at least one screw has to be removed from the plastic drum each time the disc is changed. This causes the threads to become tangled. I replaced a larger screw. Next you need to tighten the screws so the disc slides freely but doesn't leave a gap for the powder to fall into. The last thing is that even the smallest cavity ejects too much gunpowder for about 380 autoloads. Looking for…
