Not available with wood. I tried it with our little turtle and it ended up being too short on the sides. The turtle ran away and after searching the whole house we finally found it. I would not recommend that.

I wanted to get a small gnome pool and couldn't find anything suitable, then I came across this one! It's perfect for my little gnome and the solar powered fountain. In fact, the little ledge is perfect for setting up the imp, so it's not all the way down. This stopped me from attaching the palm but I still love it!

I have 2 of these and they are well made and perfect for red-eared sliders or other aquatic or semi-aquatic turtles. For red-eared and most aquatic turtles, the water needs to reach the edge of the island to give them the necessary swimming space. You can throw away the palm tree in vain. The most important thing about this aquarium is that there is no excuse not to change the water every day or so. Do not put gravel or other decorations in it, it will make cleaning the aquarium more difficult…

This is NOT suitable for your turtle as this is its home. HOWEVER I use it as a place to feed my turtle from its 20 gallon tank to keep its tank cleaner longer. He likes to climb up and eat in the bowl on a small platform. For size reference, my yellow-bellied slider is about 2.5 inches long and I couldn't imagine him using it much longer given his rapidly growing size. These turtle lagoons have been made for decades, since 1984. I had one of these for my little red ear when I was a kid. If I remember correctly they were once green, not the current blue. I also think the sides were shorter, the taller sides is a big improvement. Now my boys have saved this little turtle from urbanization in our community. We have a great opportunity to delight the young in nature's bounty and bring it closer to them. We will feed and raise him. Get it away and full of food…
