They're fine, but with two exceptions that might mean you should buy elsewhere: (1) These are regular threads, so they should work with 3.5 inch hard drives. doesn't fit my 2.5" laptop hard drive. (2) Torx head. I usually like torx but find it annoying on computers. Philips would be better.

Worked great to add a 3.5" drive to an HP Envy 795c desktop computer. It already had an extra SD card and power cable, so now I have an extra 4TB of storage.

I got rid of my old floppy drive but forgot to keep the mounting screws for the new floppy drive. Luckily they are exactly the same and worked perfectly. good price too.

So on my new HP computer I wanted to put in a new hard drive but obviously you need proprietary screws which you have to google to find out you actually need them to install your new drive. To add a new 3.5 inch hard drive to my HP ProDesk 600 G2 SFF, I needed exactly these screws. The screws inside the server only worked on the optional 3.5-inch bay. The 3.5" main drive bay required these screws, which were much wider to allow the drive to fit into the slots that hold the 3.5" main drive in the bay.
