Description of ๐Ÿ“ธ 3 Legged Thing Patti Flip Lock Tripod & Ballhead: Lightweight Magnesium Alloy for Stability and Precision

Patti is the first 3 Legged Thing tripod to use flip leg locks. Formed from rugged, hard-wearing, ABS plastic, Patti's flip locks have a smooth action which secures the legs in position. Patti has a higher maximum load capacity than is usually found in tripods of this class. Able to support up to 10 kg / 22 lbs, that's more than enough for most mirrorless and DLSR cameras. Enabling photographers' creativity, Patti includes a reversible and removable centre column, ideal for focussing on low level subjects, or shooting from an alternative perspective. With 4-section legs and a single column, Patti folds up to just 45 cm / 17.7 " making her an ideal tripod to carry with you every day. 5 year global warranty.

Good product, suitable for both photography and still photography

Ultra light weight and build quality very good for this money. watch your feet As a result, I screwed them to the lock so the rubber spikes wouldn't come loose on their own.

Pros
  • To allow photographers to get creative Patti includes a reversible and detachable center column, ideal for focusing on low subjects or shooting from a different angle
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

Ideal for every application The

It's a bit heavy but for the price I can't complain. Overall it really isn't too heavy for its durability and how much it can lift. It's worth buying, even if it's just to try, you'll like it.

Pros
  • Patti has a higher maximum load than is usually found in tripods of this class. Can carry up to 10kg / 22lbs, more than enough for most mirrorless and digital cameras
Cons
  • Available in white only

Ideal for occasional landscape photography.

Bigger and heavier than I expected System Leica M. Very well built and reliable. The fabric cover on the ball head was torn when I received the tripod, but I can do without that. Highly recommended if you rarely use a tripod but still want a good one. I will invest in one of their lighter/more expensive ones if needed.

Pros
  • With 4-piece legs and a stand, Patti folds down to just 45cm / 17.7in, making it the perfect tripod for everyday carry
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks
