Hex plug with SAE 45-degree flare male end terminates tube size fitting. Brass for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability. For use with LP and natural gas, refrigeration, and hydraulic applications. Used With: Copper, brass, aluminum and steel hydraulic tubing that can be flared. Perfect for RV Propane

Hello everyone, I bought this item for my propane gas line, it works great, no smell of gas coming through the line, I've been using it for about a year and a half, my water heater was bad so now have to hook up a propane line, just bought a new water heater for my RV and will save this item for future reference.
