Lego Architecture - United States Capitol Building (Lego Model #21030)

is one of my favorites and I am proud to have it. Extra patience is required when assembling as many of the smaller Lego pieces need to be stacked and lined up as straight as possible to look their best. So I would say that while this is a fairly simple build, it's also complex.

Wonderful block stacking set

Son got this for his 12th birthday and loved it. It took him 4 or 5 hours to assemble. He has done small architectural sets and recently the Guggenheim, but this was his largest set to date. It wasn't too difficult for him. The only thing that was a problem was the very first step, assembling the base plate, which he had some trouble with. He says it took him 15 minutes to figure it out, but he wasn't upset, and he wasn't very upset. He had a great time with this set and is very proud of the…

Great build for kids and adults

I grew up with Lego and haven't had fun in a long time. This caught my eye at the Lego store and I bought it off Amazon so I wouldn't have to carry it around (Amazon stuff only). Overall a great experience. Every few pages there are facts about the building and they pay homage to history. My only reason why it's not 5 stars is that some parts in the structure have been used to increase the number of parts, e.g. B. Using two identical parts to achieve the same end result as one large part. It's…

If you like puzzles or need to challenge your mind and work.

This is not just a gift for young people. I am a woman in my 60's trying to lead an active lifestyle. If you like puzzles or you need to challenge your mind and work on your manual dexterity at the same time, this is a great product. This product turned out to be just the thing for me. You need to pay attention to detail, tact is essential, your mind stays active and you can see the building transform before your eyes. This is great for those who are getting older and want to work on something…

Starry Huge Model

This is a great achievement in Lego models. By far the largest architectural set, it's a massive beautiful model with lots of detail. It took me several hours to plan and assemble (bags are not numbered so have fun sorting through 1000+ parts first) and the experience was extremely therapeutic, enjoyable and mentally stimulating. (Though my thumbs were a bit sore afterwards!) I bought it for $92 and a week later it was reduced to about $60. It's a steal when you see it for sale, but even at the

Very expensive compared to other Lego sets.

I fell in love with building lego sets. I love spending hours putting them together - I finally made my decision and spent $267 on this set. Unfortunately not worth it. I don't understand why it's almost triple the price of the White House and even has fewer pieces. Why such a big difference? It definitely took me longer to do the White House. Another problem I have is that every set I've bought is missing a few pieces. 9 pieces were missing. Luckily I have an extra White House set that I had…

Building fun with innovative technology

Very satisfied with this set. Got it as a (42nd) birthday present and set it up in three evenings. It took about four hours total, although I could probably cut that time in half if my kids didn't "help" as much. I have a feeling the Lego Architecture series was a success, but this set and the White House are prime examples. In general, the model looks great. I just have a lot of respect for designers. The rotunda itself is stunning and I love how they designed the rows of columns at the…
