my kid loves lego harry potter. the big Lego from Hogwarts was completely out of our price range. but this one is perfect. I couldn't be happier to find this. in my price range without the frills an 8 year old would need compared to $100+ at Hogwarts. Couldn't be happier adding this to your Harry Potter Lego collection at home

This was for my 10 year old daughter who has just started Harry Potter. She mentioned that it's just part of a much larger set, as if it were an add-on. We don't have another set but she still likes this one. She loves all the little rooms and minifigures that go with them. She plays alone and when her friends, Harry Potter fans, come over. They are also fun to disassemble and restore. She's never played with Legos, although the boys and I have lots of them, so I'm glad this set interests her.

We bought this Lego set for Christmas at the request of my 10 year old granddaughter. By Christmas noon she had it assembled and was experimenting with different ways of customizing the lock.
