Looks cheap and falling apart

I know this is one of the cheapest Lego sets but parts keep falling off like the wing fairing or the wings themselves. Feels cheap but I think so is what you get for the price.

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Crumpled

Small but very well built! I like it!

I haven't had a Lego fighter in many years, I had the old blue and black version. This one is a lot smaller than the previous ones I've seen online. Still, I really like this build and I think for $39.99 this is a great addition to any collection!

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Disappearing

Looks great and fun to build.

This is my first complete Lego set that I bought as an adult. It was fun to build and makes a great decoration. There are many small details inside the ship. For Lego, it's good value for money. The cockpit opens and closes and shoots too, so I think kids will have fun playing with it.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Some imperfections

Perfect value for money

No Lego Star Wars set is complete without this Tie Fighter. The price for this value is perfect. This is both a play set and a display set. Mine is on display as this set size works well with the current X-Wing ("Poe") and Y-Wing, as well as the Red/Black Tie Intercepter and Black Ace Tie. It's durable, it looks good, it's detailed and I can't believe it was only $30. What great value! 10/10

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • A bad buy for seniors

Personal favorite product for building sets

I love this lego set so much! I'm glad they re-released it so we can get it again if we missed it the first time, and for a decent price! I have quite a few Star Wars Lego sets but this one is by far my personal favorite as TIE Fighter has been my personal favorite since I was a child. The set was easy to put together and looks and feels great. Good size. I might get one of those lighting systems I see here at Revain for this :) Would definitely recommend to Star Wars and Lego fans! For the…

This is my second TIE Fighter set. Why do I have 2? Spring.

. because it's such a great and simple set of mods! I've improved the original by adding some details in the wings and increasing the length of the main fuselage to make it look more accurate and consistent with other ships! And the main reason I got the 2nd set was to turn it into a TIE Interceptor! The result speaks for itself. Now I'm thinking about getting the 3rd and turning it into Vader's TIE Advanced! When the time comes, I'll post a photo. I love this set!

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Lego brings back fond memories

I have a small collection of unopened Lego sets, mostly Star Wars. My 15 year old daughter helped me build a Saturn V set a while back and has been asking me to build another set ever since. Friday night when she had no plans with her friends I asked her if she would like to build a set. She said yes and we settled on TIE Fighter. It was a short setup, maybe 45 minutes, but it's a great memory. And the kit looks great on a shelf in my cinema room. I will buy Lego as long as she enjoys building…
