Good replacement for cord repairs. Definitely not waterproof, which is what I want in an outdoor power strip. Silicone smeared, let's see how it holds up. The price of a new cable does not justify replacing the connector with a better one.

Must have perfect stripping/guide length to avoid trial and error reinstallation. Works well despite the soft plastic composition. Be sure to align everything when tightening the screws; a small vise or a third or fourth hand will help.

Looks good, well made. It's larger than the plug it replaces, but it's "relatively" easy to plug in. I like the ability to tighten the connector around the cable where it enters the connector. Makes a solid if flashy (yellow) fork replacement. Mine is on the vacuum cleaner and seems to be working fine.

Instead of throwing away the old 75ft extension I just replaced the damaged connector. The materials make a solid impression. Threading the cable is intuitive, a good twist and crimp slide right in (I didn't bother soldering the ends of the wires) and tighten between the plates. Closed and fixed the detail at the entrance. Good firm clamp to avoid tension in the connections.

Works great for my 12 GA. Renewal. Just don't try to push the retaining ring all the way onto the wire if it's too big because you think it will wrap around it, but it won't and you'll just rip off the screw hole. It has a good wire connection clip on the inside of the plug (no need to wrap the wire around the screw). Even if you seal the connection gaps with clear silicone during assembly, you should still have a good waterproof connector.
