Works great for my 12 GA. Renewal. Just don't try to push the retaining ring all the way onto the wire if it's too big because you think it will wrap around it, but it won't and you'll just rip off the screw hole. It has a good wire connection clip on the inside of the plug (no need to wrap the wire around the screw). Even if you seal the connection gaps with clear silicone during assembly, you should still have a good waterproof connector.
