Perfect for my needs.

We have a small kitchen, almost no outlets, but we have two switches to control the cabinet lights. I also wanted a socket there - and the search led me to this one. It's easy to install, clear instructions are included in the box, and the socket and switch are of the expected (high!) Legrand quality. Changed in 10 minutes and it works great.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • The cord is shorter than others

Fantastic 3 position switch and socket.

Worked like magic when combined with another normal 3 way switch and smart. I was concerned that 1. It may not work well with 3way2 Smart Wifi Switch. So that the socket does not work constantly depending on the combination of switches. The result – everything worked like clockwork, no conflicts with the smart switch and the socket worked 100% regardless of the light conditions.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Some bugs

Use this on SINGLE circuits (switch does not control an outlet)

Reviews stating instructions are poor are accurate. The only real problem is "Where's the tab you want me to break?". On my model, it sits between two black screws with a small cutout in the plastic that allows it to flex and break. Yes it is a tab. Yes, it's easy to break, just like you imagined. Yes, then it works as a switch and stand alone outlet.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • old

Not as advertised; does not match the instructions

The switch/socket I received does not match the description or the instructions that came with it. I had to use it to create two separate circuits and there was no "split tab" as stated anywhere on the unit, let alone in the middle of the back where shown in the instructions. I wanted to use a switch to control a device while keeping the outlet hot at all times and this allows only that outlet to be configured by the switch without the help of a split tab.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Some issues

I had two hotlines for one product: one for installation as a 3-position switch and another, as always, a hot socket. In the figure and in the instruction note it is recommended to pull out the removable tab on the BACK of the product, protected by a plastic cover. But there is nothing behind it! Obviously the product has been updated. Instructions from 2017. Instead there is a metal tab on one side that needs to be broken: I did that: by bending and breaking. There is nothing to draw. However,

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Like other commenters, the instructions are best left out of the box as they are misleading about the missing shunt on the hot wire between the outlet and the switch. There is a connection that can be removed if you want each to be powered by two different wires, but I can't imagine many people would need this. If you're pretty good at wiring, this switch is pretty self-explanatory on how to wire it. I've attached a picture of the cable markers. I agree that moving the switch vertically is much

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Replacement availability
