First outlet of its kind to add USB connection to a GFCI outlet for easier charging, anywhere. Protect children using a patented “invisi-shutter” system to prevent the insertion of foreign objects while maintaining a discreet, invisible effect. Meets NEC Tamper-Resistant requirements. Provides reliable ground fault protection with a trip indicator light and reset button on the outlet for easy, accessible troubleshooting. Installs quickly thanks to a redesigned side wire cavity for easier access. Includes traditional power outlets and two USB Type-A ports for convenient charging. Shares 2.0A charging capacity between both ports. Can provide ground fault protection to downstream outlets through feed-thru wiring. Self-tests every three seconds, ensuring continuous ground fault protection for greater safety. Additionally, in case of test failure, the indicator light (red LED) will flash to signal there is an issue and the outlet should be replaced. Equipped with proven SafeLock feature which disconnects power to the outlet if any critical components are damaged for added protection.

Great combo socket for modern homes

I have installed GFCI and USB combo outlets in both new construction and renovation. They offer great utility and convenience in today's world of USB charging. Prices have also gradually come down as they are becoming more popular and available from almost all manufacturers. However, due to supply chain issues and the current state of world events, it appears to be higher at the moment. If you're renting a home, you need this

I often visit short vacation rental markets around the country. Currently, about 75% of the places we've been have one or more outlets with built-in USB sockets. This makes it much easier to participate in this electronically networked world. This model is GFCI protected, which in turn protects you from injury to your renters. The best from both worlds! Not the easiest of installs and a bit stiff due to TR, but a great combination of GFCI and USB

I spent the evening installing new light switches and sockets in a newly renovated room. I installed some new outlets including arc outlets, USB plugs and of course regular outlets that are just switches.
