Fantastic for cherries.

Quickly and efficiently divides my annual cherry harvest into pie fillings. I find it helpful to use my left hand to feed the cherries in a line through the pitter while driving the plunger with my right hand. I don't expect it to catch all the holes. Pitted cherries are served on a plastic tray; When it's full, I use both hands to check and manually remove any remaining seeds before transferring them to a tin pot. This two-part process is pretty quick. This device is easy to clean and overall…

Wonderful. Quickly. Worth every penny.

This groundbreaking tool! I live in Michigan where cherries are plentiful, but most orchards only plant cherries because the cherries are too big for their equipment. This even works for large cherries and takes MUCH LESS TIME. I used to use a hand stoner, one at a time, and it took forever. Watch. days of my life. This thing just swallowed 2 pounds of cherries in 5 minutes. Sometimes the cherry gets stuck in the funnel, but getting it out is easy. Easy to clean. Worth every penny.

I should have bought this time saving tool many years ago

I rarely buy an all purpose kitchen tool but after spending several hours manually picking cherries I have a Leifheit 37200 cherry picker with a container for catching Bought stones - and I'm sorry I didn't buy it years ago to save time and wear out my thumbs! This fun stone remover is easy to use, especially once you get into the rhythm of peeling the cherry first, loading the tray and pushing the handle down to remove the stone. You'll still need to cut the cherry in half for most recipes and

What not to do: Kitchen and dining room

I don't usually write reviews but this time I felt compelled to write one. When I saw this item on Revain I was thrilled to see what appeared to be high quality, high ratings, etc. It arrived. i washed it I picked some cherries from the trees. Assembled from pictures (no written instructions. It was easy). They approached. Transducer Transducer (this is the sound of a piston entering a cherry). I have set my space. Washed cherries in a colander, a new tool and a bowl for picking pitted…

This device isn't perfect, but I think it's worth buying for the home.

This device is not perfect, but I think it's worth buying for home food preservation. If I was just pitting cherries for a pie or two I would stick with my hand stoner or even use a knife instead. But for my production needs of 50 pounds a couple of times a year, Lefiheit has two advantages over individual hand crunching: speed and less mess. I just harvested 20 pounds of cherries in about 90 minutes with very few heads. I'd say around 25% of the seeds weren't removed, but the good news is they

He doesn't get all the stones.

Advantages: Easy to clean if rinsed immediately after use. Don't let anything get stuck in any of the slots and dry out. Otherwise you are good. technology helps. In general, it's easier than using a knife on each of them. Cons: It doesn't go through all the holes. you have a job I've destroyed hundreds if not more than a thousand cherries with mine. With the best technique I can muster, I can reduce the odds of hitting a rock to 1 in 10, but that's not the whole technique. Too ripe and he…

The best little car ever!

Wow I'm glad I have this core remover! I have two dwarf cherry trees and they produced a truckload of fruit this year and last year. For the first £10 I didn't have this little machine yet so I literally made it by hand. And my poor thumbs were literally pissed off too when I finished carving them after about 6 hours of work. Enter Leifheit. Last night I lost 20 pounds in 2 hours. The hole itself is a breeze. First you need to practice a little to get comfortable. First, remember to remove the…
