Works great in RV Parts and Accessories

Works as advertised. The hardest part of the installation was routing the power cord inside the RV. I would like the thermostat to have more stable and closer thermal contact and/or isolation from ambient conditions as I use it regularly at -5°F and need to (easily) adjust the thermostat's set point. 425W is slightly less but electrically and thermally safer for a water heater. Supposedly I could fit the longer 625W element from the 10 gallon kit into my 6 gallon suburban water heater. But at…

Great, buy now and never worry about a pilot light again.

Can't give 5 stars yet as I don't know how long it will last. I recently bought a 2000 Niagara at a great price and have had so many problems with the check engine light. This solves that problem, I don't just have to plug the cord into my camper and in 45-55 minutes I have plenty of hot water for a shower. Excellent customer service, very good product.

I bought this product four years ago and have had no problems with it. It worked well, drastically limiting propane usage while still providing hot water on demand and preventing the blast furnace water heater from turning on at any time of the day or night if I forgot to turn it off. I only use propane when we're taking a shower and need a quicker recovery. However, about 3 months ago during a trip I plugged it in and the GFCI socket worked straight away, tried another GFCI with the same…

Simply put, propane saves $

This is definitely recommended for any 6 gallon LP water heater, be it Suburban or Atwood. Reduce the number of LP refills from once a week to every 2 weeks. The kit includes all the necessary equipment and written instructions. Tools needed: Open-end wrench (or socket set or vise), Teflon tape, drill with 1/8-inch bit, and Phillips screwdriver. ON/PILOT again if you don't need an emergency shower as the electric heater takes much longer to heat up). Touch the valve and close it. Turn off the…
