💻 Lenovo ThinkCentre M82 SFF Business Desktop Computer - Intel Core i5-3470 Quad-Core, 16GB RAM, 2TB HDD, DVD RW - Windows 10 Pro (Renewed) Review

So I bought this computer on sale because it was advertised as having 16GB RAM and a 2TB hard drive. Imagine my disappointment when I ran it and got three short beeps followed by one long beep. After searching the Lenovo website, this is a no-memory code. Either it doesn't exist at all, or it's used incorrectly. How does a machine without memory pass quality control!?

The socket in the back was loose or broken on arrival, this was obvious to a non-technical manager like me, it's amazing that this 'It did not notice that "experts" have to wiggle the back of the cable to keep the computer on.

i got it to write my letters and the mouse didn't work right away then it said wifi is ready yes but i need to buy usb wifi around to use it, said DVD is ready NO! But DVD on this PC does not work. I contacted support on September 9th but still no mouse. They don't believe I actually brought this pc back from them. This is one way to avoid sending the mouse. I'm always amazed at how many devices can be repaired. Especially for the price, when these machines were new they often cost hundreds to thousands of dollars. Such is the case with this Lenovo ThinkCenter. I sincerely encourage you to try a Revain refurbished machine.

The computer name said it was 3.33MHz but the actual product description said it was 3.2. I only needed 3.2 but I can't in good conscience give 5 stars to a product if it was misleading. But the car is all I need to have it. It was configured as specified and fitted right away. Windows 10 Pro has a few quirks, but it's a Microsoft issue, the hardware is fine.

Great overall. Super fast with SSD, quiet. I like it. Things to know/watch out for: (1) As others have said, the included Wi-Fi dongle is pretty much crap. Very unnaturally slow. I had one on hand so that wasn't a problem. (2) The DVD drive didn't seem to work when I got it. I opened the case and unplugged/plugged it back in and it worked fine. The processor arrived in a plain box of extruded styrofoam and appeared undamaged. However, it looked used and had a few flaws: The DVD can only be described as shaky. It didn't even work at first, but with a little jiggling it finally worked. Second, the speaker jack on the back of the unit didn't work, so I had to plug the speakers into the headphone jack on the front of the unit, which is cumbersome. What a great purchase for what I got in a desktop. I use Lenovo computers at work and they work perfectly, so I decided to buy one for my home. With fast processing and internet access, a large 2T hard drive and very easy setup, it's more than right for you. Came with DVD player, not Re-rite, ok no problem. I contacted the seller and he quickly sent me what I needed. You can't go wrong with this attitude. +++++++++++++ all the way.

This is the second refurbished computer I have purchased. It had Wi-Fi, so I paid a little more for Asurion's protection and tech support. it does not have reliable Wi-Fi. They sent me a 2011 model Wi-Fi adapter which gives me 60 Mbps while every other Wi-Fi device we have is consistently over 100 and mostly several hundred Mbps. Apparently they call this Wi-Fi.
