🔍 Enhanced Lens Protection for Oculus Quest and Rift S Review

Cheap, poorly printed and not suitable for the device. My left Oculus Quest lens got scratched trying to install it because it wasn't securely attached as intended.

After the installation video, the first protective film has just torn. I decided to at least try the other one because 50% protection is better than nothing, but this one broke in the same place.

Like others who received shipments in March 2020, I appear to have received a defective left eyepiece. The right eye snapped into place, the left didn't, and I'm concerned that applying more force could damage the lens. If the seller contacts me to help or provide a replacement I will change my rating.

This product is exactly as described. Gently and safely prevents your glasses from being scratched by Oculus lenses (if they're scratched, get a Polywatch). You do fog up your lenses when you sweat a little, but that's the catch 22. While you can see through your lenses while preventing them from getting scratched, it fogs them up and prevents you from seeing through them. You need an anti-fog agent.

Works a little. Better yet, just get prescription lenses from VR Lens Lab so you don't need glasses. If your glasses get stuck in your Oculus when you remove the device, the frame will still scratch the lens. Spend $40 more. If you can afford Quest 2, you can afford a game or two of extra protection.

I am very happy for her. I used to have an Oculus quest and ended up scratching the lens with the glasses, even with the expander on. So I got a new quest and ordered it. They fit over real eyeglass lenses and provide extra clearance from your glasses. If your glasses get too close, they will only hit the protectors, not the lenses. One of my best VR accessory purchases.
