Only gave 4 stars because this part didn't work for me. I wanted an expanded view, not a mirror on both monitors. The return process was very easy and quick.

Great product. I'm a professor and I carry my laptop from room to room when I teach. This relay connects my MacBook to one of the HDMI and VGA projectors.

After I got a new Macbook Pro 2018, I needed to update all my adapters. This display adapter has both VGA and HDMI. I've been using it for several weeks now. Looks solid and works as promised.

This adapter for MacPro Book to VGA and HDMI works as advertised. Thank God there is a supplier who makes such adapters. There are companies that still use VGA connections to connect laptops to projection systems. This adapter saves lives.

I have connected many times to 4 different USB-C ports of my Mac Book Pro 16 inch but it does not work, does not recognize a second monitor, HDMI or VGA. I got help from Technical Service very quickly but it was impossible to fix it, then they refunded my money. Thank you LENTION

Bought to replace a genuine Apple for MacBook Pro so I don't have to carry an adapter home from my dorm. Works like the original for my needs, connects to a monitor for school work and to a TV for movies and slide shows. I don't use it for gaming, so I can't comment on that.

If like me you're trying to get someone with dual monitors and want to expand to dual monitors, look elsewhere. The description of this item doesn't match the above statement - if two monitors show the same screen, it won't expand, okay? So please put this statement in RED and HUGE font in your product description. HDMI and VGA are for alternate use only and are not intended for simultaneous use.

I am very skeptical when it comes to buying non-Apple Store accessories for my iMac or iPhone, but I have to say I'm glad I bought this one having bought the product. I've never liked writing reviews and almost didn't buy because of other reviews, but I'm glad I decided to do it. Im impressed with the quality and that it fits my iMac perfectly and works great. I carry several adapters in my laptop bag so I'm prepared for anything I might encounter when connecting to a projector. Now that laptops, iPads, and iPhones have new Apple USB-C ports, I needed a different adapter. I ordered a lention adapter and am satisfied with the quality. It has an HDMI and an RGB connection. I've only recently received it so I can't comment on its durability but its quality is evident and I expect it to last a long time.
