Questionable reliability for an expensive accessory

Pros - can connect and charge with my new MBPro - matches MBPro finish - portable/easy to carry Cons - does not lay flat on table - cables in different directions cause twist - Heats up, especially when charging and using HDMI. Noticed flickering on MBPro screen when using without monitor. The USB cable is short and hard, inconvenient to use.

The adapter stopped working after only 2.5 months

I hate bad reviews but I have to be honest about this adapter. I bought the adapter in November 2018 and yesterday (05/02/2019) it stopped working. There is some sort of short in the connector and it no longer connects to my external display and hard drives, and the AC adapter connector no longer charges my MacBook. When I went to leave a review for the seller, I found that the return period was closed on January 31, 2019. Let's see if the seller will give me a refund or a replacement although…

Prevents 2018 MacBook Pro from connecting to Wi-Fi

The product worked well on my 2018 MacBook Pro for the first few hours until I disconnected from Wi-Fi for no reason. I fixed errors and nothing worked. Then I unplugged the adapter and everything was fine. After a while I plugged it back in to see if the problem came back and it did.

Good items in computer cable adapters

Still in the process of evaluating these two hubs. One was for the new 27-inch Apple Mac desktop with Mojave and two USB-C ports, and the other older Mac only had three USB 2.0 ports, requiring a USB>USB-C adapter. In both cases, items such as USB sticks and memory card readers were accepted and worked well. The secondary monitor with HDMI only worked intermittently through the hub and external hard drive. Frustrating because Lention didn't disclose product limitations

Deal breaker on my personal MAC and Dell Precision 5520 I can use my Dell docking station with USB-C 89W power adapter for my Mac with no problem. But when I connect a Dell PSU to a Dell laptop via Lention, it complains that it's only drawing 57W. And when I connect my ASUS USB-C monitor to my Mac, I get an error message saying there is no DVI support. I know it's a lention issue because I can connect directly with no issues. If I had known about the DVI problem and the power limit, I would not

Expensive - but worth it!

A bit pricey but works exactly as advertised, making my unit VERY easier to set up. The aluminum alloy body looks AMAZING and overall it's a really good size and doesn't overheat like some of the other adapters I've tried. The only thing that really bothers me is that the main cable of the device sticks out at the very end of the device.
