Still in the process of evaluating these two hubs. One was for the new 27-inch Apple Mac desktop with Mojave and two USB-C ports, and the other older Mac only had three USB 2.0 ports, requiring a USB>USB-C adapter. In both cases, items such as USB sticks and memory card readers were accepted and worked well. The secondary monitor with HDMI only worked intermittently through the hub and external hard drive. Connecting My Passport caused a pop-up window with the message "Insufficient power supply". I will keep these two hubs for smaller needs but wish they had such an externally powered device to allow such connections when needed.
