I bought this cap for running and specifically for the UV protection and it works for my purposes. The base of the cap sits fairly low and pushes my ears down so I end up trying to raise them up a bit about halfway through my run, which is a bit annoying. The back strap doesn't seem to be adjustable (at least I couldn't figure it out)? It also creases easily, but I care more about head protection than looks. Very light (think of a cap to complement a spring windbreaker). Sits well and snugly on the head. Easily adjustable. My only problem is that it goes too far and interferes with the grove between my ear and head, the anterior helix area I believe it's called (photo attached). I have to constantly adjust it so it doesn't sit there and rub, so that can be a nuisance. It can only be the shape of my head - the shape of the back of my head is flatter than a peanut. I was looking for a hat for running that would do two things: protect my bald head from the sun and keep sweat off my face and eyes. This cap does both very satisfactorily. It's a little deep for me so there's a little gap between the cap and the head, but it fits well so the gap doesn't bother me much.
