Description of Leveling 1981 1996 1983 1996 1991 1994 Suspension

[FITMENT] Only fits four-wheel drive 4WD Vehicles. Compatible with Ford: 1981-1996 F150 F-150, 1981-1996 Bronco, 1983-1996 Bronco II, 83-96 Ranger, 1991-1994 Explorer. This leveling unit does not come with installation instructions but is completely bolt-on; please consult a professional if you need support. Should take 2-4 hours to install and does not require any additional shock absorbers, cutting, welding, or other forms of modification. Made from Aircraft Grade Aluminum that is CNC-machined to exact specifications for optimal durability and fitment. Designed to be solid so that it does not bend or warp under stress and should last the lifetime of your vehicle. Includes 2 Billet Aluminum Spacers of 1 11/16" (42mm) thickness with hardware as pictured for a total lift height of 2" (2.0 inch). Note that your suspension geometry is not a 1:1 ratio meaning the actual item thickness is not equal to the lift height. After installation suspension will be slightly stiffer. In addition, an alignment after installation is necessary to get the correct lift.

exceeds my expectations

The Bronco had a slight camber and these blocks raised the front end about three inches before leveling out. After leveling, the height dropped about 1 inch, which lined up the front end perfectly. These blocks were aluminum, not plastic. Will last a lifetime. Great product at twice the price!

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Worked on my 1991 Ford Ranger 4x4 with slight modifications

I am happy with this kit for the money. The narrow part was slightly larger than the diameter of my spring wire so the stop plate didn't make contact with the spring and held it. I turned off about .125" on the lathe and everything was fine. If they were more expensive it would be annoying, but at this price I figured some modifications might be needed.

Pros
  • Body and suspension raise kits
Cons
  • Great price

Not bad but not great, should be cheaper.

The quality of the material is excellent. However, the setup does not account for positive camber on a double I support stem fitted to a 1989 4x4 Bronco. In everyday traffic, it can be more of a problem maker than a ride solver. With that, the 33 x 12.5 tires and wheelset are still not officially approved. It's best to stick with the 32 x 12.5 or smaller size unless you're going to cut or remove the front bumper and just ride on it. The other issue is that it is a 2" block but the stroke…

Pros
  • Spare parts
Cons
  • Some difficulties
