I don't know why I'm being asked to rate this item on its suction power as it doesn't. However, this is a good little sharpener.

fantastic steel sharpening. I have a 12 inch, I think a 10 inch would be better for home use. I only need about 6 inches for most of my knife needs.

I was very happy when I received this stick. It was packaged with care and when I saw this fine grade rod I was thrilled. A very thin shaft that gives a smooth feel to some of my knives.

A thick steel rod that sharpens kitchen knives well. Good workmanship and nice box. Also great for fencing competitions in the kitchen, invaders, ice picks and an impromptu hammer to tenderize meat. I would recommend a little longer for zombie protection, but it will work in a pinch.

Received this sharpener yesterday and went straight to work - and absolutely loved it. I have about a dozen kitchen knives, including a Shun Santoku and a couple of Swedish fillet knives, and I've sharpened them all. The LEVNCHY sharpener sharpened them all very well, at different angles as advertised. Good product, I can recommend. Period.

If you don't turn the angle all the way out it won't do anything because the grinding faces are too deep in the groove. You can tell by the grinding sound (or lack thereof) when the blade is being cut with a sharpener. Maybe it's ok for those who want a sharp angle and razor-like blade, but if you want to sharpen a general-purpose blade it's useless.

Love it! It looks like junk but works like gold. I'm very happy with it! I go through the house, sharpening all the knives and trying out all the possibilities. I wonder how long this item will last and if it will wear out with constant use. It looks like it's made out of cheap plastic, but the sharpening is very well done. I highly recommend it.

Yes. I had a blade that barely penetrated the tomato's outer layer. After going through 2 stages it will cut most things again like factory sharpening (food wise). The edge is probably still a bit rough (probably not paper cutting/hair shaving sharpness), but it's a quick way to get a heavily used blade reliably trimming again in maybe 30 seconds.
