This was just what I needed to run my 30 amp plasma cutter. Leviton is known for making high quality products and this is no exception. Fits in a standard wall box. Before connecting, make sure your circuit can handle 30 amps.

Leviton is always good. Use for server rack PDU (Power Distribution Unit) for mining rig. I believe the current code is for 4 wires (e.g. + independent ground) but that's what the HP PDU I just got with this socket is 3 wire. Later I'll move the plug and socket to 4 wires for an integrated ground protection (that's not Leviton's problem).

They're excellent: strong, compact, holds cords like a realtor, holds onto money, and surprisingly about a third cheaper on Prime than local hardware stores at the time of purchase. 19 of these installed on two ring chains (relax, they're used individually) and even with a 10 gauge Romex they fit easily into one-piece boxes with Wago connectors (also from Revain). Completely satisfied. .

I bought two plugs that I ordered and needed. Arrived in bubble wrap in excellent condition. . . with the caveat that they got wet. The boxes they came in from the manufacturer were wet. The candles are dry and all is well. Somehow water got into the envelope and was either sealed before shipping or somewhere along the way water actually got into that bubble lined plastic envelope. Good twist lock 30 amp socket. You push, insert and twist this socket, which locks it in place. This ensures that whatever device you have plugged in stays securely connected to the outlet.
