Does the job - good.

I have used this device model several times; This one in particular did not disappoint. Fast delivery and less than half the local price: a good combination. Has compression eyelets for connections; really nice feature.

I saved the SET for electrics

Very well done. Good heavy terminals. Wires are inserted behind the terminals; Cables do not need to be wrapped around the screws - simple and reliable. Also MUCH cheaper than a well-known electricity provider! EXACTLY the same make and model!

Large outlet

This is a high quality outlet that works well. Holds forks securely with a twist lock. It's easy to tie with straight wire or old school and wrap it around the screw. It's quite big, but it's necessary for big teeth.

A simple way to increase the versatility of your 230 volt socket.

This socket was very easy to install and has actually turned my 230v socket into a much more useful and versatile socket that I use for all my woodworking tools. With a pair of plugs properly wired for 115 volts and mounted on a short cord with a regular 115 volt outlet on the other end, I can use the outlet for any of my 115 volt tools. I installed separate plugs on each of my 230 volt tools with the correct wiring so I can continue to use the outlet for those tools.

I bought this socket to power my house from a generator in case the electricity goes out for a long time and I am very happy with the quality of the product. I was able to connect it very easily and am convinced of its quality when needed. Good solid connection with plug

I have already bought, used and tested a Leviton 2711 plug which turned out to be much better quality than the cheap one that came with my alternator. I just tested this for connector compatibility and it seems to me to be a very good fit and probably a very good electrical connection. In fact, there was a click as I twisted the plug while the outlet on my generator was being "warmed up".
