Believe it or not, the COLOR of the center connector is important. Blue is the lowest signal loss on the link. Then red and then white. I learned this the hard way. When using a connector or terminal block. Always pay attention to the blue center.

(I recommend adding a 90 degree connector so the cord doesn't run straight into the room.)
