Ethernet Connection Method

I have installed Ethernet cables for work, myself, family and friends from time to time for about 15 years. This is the way. The QuickPort plates allow you to mix and match ports, and the ports themselves are very durable. They work stably and hold up well. So simple even a caveman can use it

Use them on my media panel to convert my phone lines to Ethernet (Cat5e cables). They print both schematics A and B on the side to facilitate correct connection. All you have to do is make sure your network uses the same schematic and you'll be fine. I also use Leviton connectors which makes installation even easier as they use the same cable color coding scheme so choosing a connection scheme (A or B) is easy to stay consistent across the network.
