Crashed on initial install

This one crashed on initial install when I (carefully) unscrewed one of the panel screws holding it to the switch. Maybe it's my fault, but it's obvious that these switch plates are brittle and not as strong or resilient as some reviews suggest. One wonders if another top brand that boasts "unbreakable polycarbonate" wouldn't have been worth the extra cost. If you walk with it, be extremely careful and handle it. I see other reviews saying it's a hack.

Pros
  • Regular Price
Cons
  • Good, but not great

Good quality what you need

Had a 2-way switch/socket. I was replacing an old duplex outlet with a GFCI, so I needed a decorative sized wall plate for the new outlet. I looked for cheaper ones but am glad I went for the slightly more expensive version. It's quite thick and stiff, especially compared to some of the cheaper Leviton Decora single tier wall panels I've bought with it, which were brittle and felt cheap (but got the job). One star off because the screw was missing, but I was able to reuse an old matching screw.

Pros
  • Beautiful
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Fits well, good value, looks good but has injection molding or manufacturing "nicks" on the plastic ribs on the back causing uneven assembly and can even crack the plastic switch cover if the wall surface is not smooth/flat. I had some excess drywall putty from the contractor protruding from one side of the junction box and when I first started tightening this new cover I noticed uneven installation and heard a slight crackle (due to the tip resting on the bulge) . of putty). ). I removed it…

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • approx.

clean looks, thick and reinforced - worth the price

After purchasing a programmable ceiling fan switch, I needed a light switch faceplate that was a little more special. This fits the bill. I noticed that this Leviton model seems to be a bit more expensive than what others are offering. After examining and comparing the photos to this one I suspected it was a little stronger and I'm happy to report that my guess was correct. It's not one of those ultra-thin light switch bezels that warp if you overtighten a screw. It's nice, thick and reinforced

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure
