Manual reset very difficult.

I really liked this GFCI plug as I recently moved and didn't have one in my bathroom. The original outlet was over 25 years old and this plug was a perfect fit, no outlet or wall adjustments needed. Installation was easy, very simple and easy. As the description suggests, a self-check every 15 minutes is intended to provide additional protection. It is also recommended to do a self-test once a month and that's where my problem came from. It is almost impossible to reset the settings after…

GFCI helps best in sockets and accessories

Do you know the house from A Christmas Carol? Remember overloaded, underpowered outlets that go out when you turn on the tree? This is our house. Good self-test capabilities, but is manual testing still recommended?

Leviton S7599 GFCI has some requirements. First, it has a "reduced depth" that makes it easier to install. The depth is probably shallower than the GFCI years ago, but when I compared it to some of the Pass & Seymour GFCIs I've had, the depth was identical. At least he wasn't anymore.
