For replacing spark plugs on two Honda vehicles. 1.5l and 1.8l. The reach is perfect and makes the job a lot easier since you only need a ratchet and this tool. The magnet is more than strong enough and a welcome improvement over the old rubber insoles. It's a bit pricey, but if you're a do-it-yourselfer, you already know how you can save money paying a mechanic. My biggest regret is that I didn't have it before.

This magic tool. In short, you save $100 by changing the spark plugs yourself. So please take my advice and spend a few bucks more to get the best tool you can. This broke when removing the first stub. I knew it was better not to buy cheap tools but this is really cool. The first of the four connectors broke off in the head of the jack and I didn't notice until I shone a flashlight on the new connector and some of this magnetic metal stuck to the new connector. Complete garbage. Better service by simply using the standard plug head that comes with every mechanic's tool kit and extension cord.

Required for deep plug removal and new plug installation. All three connector manufacturers do not recommend lubricants. On the Ford Triton yes, as they are difficult to remove. The magnet should hold the Triton connectors well after you apply NICKEL Anti-Seize CRC to the connector tip. Any other non-extended range plugs should probably not be anti-seized as this could cause the plug to unscrew itself and prevent the plug from being grounded. You can turn the socket in a circle, the spark plug stays in place. The swivel perfectly protects the spark plug thread from movement and cross threads after the spark plug is installed.
